About Us

PhotoMigrations is a premier nature photography community offering all levels of nature photographers an environment to share their photography and expertise.

The PhotoMigrations website is divided into three basic areas - the publication portion, the online forums and chat.

The publication portion consists of articles submitted by top professionals in the field,  our members and staff.

Our free Forums consist of eight categories. The Image Critiques forum is for the posting and commenting on images posted by the members and staff. The General Photo Forum is for the discussion of all nature related photography topics. The Digital Domain forum is for the discussion of all your digital question, tips and techniques - from computers to cameras, software and news. The Environment and Conservation Corner forum is for posting any environmental or conservation related items of interest. The Images of the Week forum is managed by our professional advisor, Tom Vezo. Mr. Vezo selects an outstanding image from the Image Critiques Forum each week. Our Regional Groups Forums are for planning and updating the information of our free group tours. The Workshops, Services and Public Appearances forum is the place for our members and Professionals to list their items of interest for our members. Our online PM Classifieds forum is for the posting of equipment for sale by individual members. Haley's Youth Forum is for people under the age of 17 to post their images for critique.

The Cover Page is the entry page to the site where images selected by the staff are showcased each month. The gateway for accessing the three areas is found at the Home Page. To access the forums simply click on the forum link. This will take you to the forum main page and you can then make your selection depending on which forum you wish to visit.  Our articles are listed each month on the Home Page. Simply click on the article you wish to read. An Archive link is also on this page. This will take you to a list of previously published articles. The Chat link will take you to the page from which you can sign into chat. We have chat on Monday and Thursday at 8:30pm central time. A listing of staff, member and related sites can be accessed via the Links link. The ID Resources link will take you to a listing of web sites that will aid in wildlife identification.

First time visitors are asked to register to gain access to the Image Critiques Forum. Registration on the site is free and the required information is very minimal. This information is used only by our staff. Once registered, you will need to enter your username and password only when visiting the Image Critiques Forum.
